Under New Management
Greetings, dear patrons and friends! The Grapes may have a fresh face at the helm, but our heart beats with the same old passion for serving the finest ales, delectable dishes, and timeless memories. As we step into this new chapter, we invite you to join us in celebrating tradition while embracing the new.Even as we introduce new elements to The Grapes, we cherish the age-old traditions that make this pub special. The laughter echoing from the walls, the clinking of mugs, the tales of yore shared over a pint – these will always remain the soul of our establishment.
Current Ales
We change our ales as often as possible and update the website to From the mystical shores of Cornwall with Doombar to the heart of English meadows with Side Pocket and the ever-surprising allure of our rotating guest ale – we promise a brew-tastic voyage. Join us, and let’s raise a toast to tales told through ales.

Side Pocket
There’s a little pocket of English countryside that lives in every bottle of Side Pocket. This delightful ale from Tring Brewery dances on your palate with a lively, floral aroma and a hint of citrus at a great price.

John Smiths
This top-selling ale boasts a unique and pronounced cereal note that forms the foundation of its flavor profile. This is blended with the rich, sweet tastes of malt, which bring a depth and warmth to each sip.

Guinness
For the less adventurous souls, we serve ice cold pints of Guinness and challenge any pub in the local area to pull a better version of it. Regular line cleans and the right staff equals the perfect Guinness.
